Leibniz Research Alliances

Leibniz institutions form collaborative research alliances which use inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to address current scientific and socially-relevant issues.

The alliances are designed for a period of five to 15 years and are open for collaboration with universities, other non-university research institutions and infrastructure facilities as well as research groups abroad.

Alongside the Leibniz Research Alliance 'Crises in a Globalised World' there are Alliances conerning:

    The Leibniz Association

The Leibniz Association connects 89 independent research institutions that range in focus from the natural, engineering and environmental sciences via economics, spatial and social sciences to the humanities. Leibniz institutes address issues of social, economic and ecological relevance. They conduct knowledge-driven and applied basic research, maintain scientific infrastructure and provide research-based services. Click here for more information.
